You are called to be a care giver. You promote wellness and well-being for others. Are you willing to role model good self care? Many of us who are care givers recognize ourselves in the first statement and are willing to pursue the second one. However, when it comes to practicing the principles that we instill in others around self – care we are some of the worst offenders. Caring for the care giver is about providing tools and resources to the individual. It is also about creating an organizational culture that recognizes and reinforces the importance of self-care. You are the only you there is. The organizations of today must create the capacity and demonstrate the willingness to back up the rhetoric that says, “you are our most precious resource.”

It is possible that the intentions we create and hold actually help to create our reality. If this is true, there may be no such thing as a “coincidence”, rather chance occurrences may be a manifestation of intentions. For example, have you ever noticed that in the very moment you needed something in your life, you experienced a random thought or met a random person who provided what you needed? Have you ever called someone who “popped into” your mind only to find out they had been thinking of you? -Learn the basic scientific principles that may govern the way that intentions manifest.
